This company is not to be trusted.

First let me look at some of the comments made here regarding the "Spreads".

I defy any one who has posted the advantages of EFX spreads to actually demonstrate their accuracy. I am currently trying to trade with this platform and it is F***ing useless. I have been disconnected twice from the order server.

The quotes on my entry and exit trades bear no resemblance to those on the quotes board. I have experienced this phenomena several times before and several times today already, and complaints to EFX are dismssied with problems at my end. I know that this is not true.

Either their platform is unstable or their server is unstable. will give you an example. The quotes board is reading 83/43 USD/JPY. But, my position has yet to be updated it is reading79/80. Thids is within the same platform!!! It makes it hard to try and get out. Part of the problem might be that they use three servers.

A quotes server, an order server, and a perms server. I have been slipped over 6pips tonight on three trades because the quotes do not correspond with their feed.

When you combine this with the commission, the three trades have become expensive... I would like to mention the commission aspect of EFX. I am going to give them a scam rating and for this reason.

I have looked at the previous reviews and have visited the non dealer forum. There is to my mind an orchestrated campaign to deceive new traders with regards to the charges and spreads advertised. They mention commissions but not the Round trip.

I defy D Larsen - below - to spell out these magical trades mentioned below. I have kept a record of my entry and exotpoints. It is impossible to enter and exit without paying at least one spread. Trust me on that one. I have spent hours trying to. The system will not let you.

So much for non dealing desk. This brings me to another aspect of the review classification. They have set up this forum to clinically attempt to show a distance between themselves and an allegely impartial arbiter. You only have to look carefully at this site to realise that it is part of the scam. I have been sucked in by this tripe.

And, by the way, the constant reference to Barron's No 1 is not for forex. It is for MBTrading and the share market.

I do not recommend anyone to join this company until they can absolutely prove they are honest with their quotes and dealings. I'll be leaving very shortly. Do not put any large amounts of money with this company.

FOREIGN EXCHANGE BROKER SCAM CASE

I tried using their forex platform which has the alarms.

This platform was not stable for me, it kept crashing almost daily. Of all the platforms I have ever used from any broker, this platform is the only one that has ever crashed on my PC.

Their tiny Tech support was only available certain hours and the only person I was told to contact in that department was hard to get a hold of.

Once I did get a hold of the technician, he would promise me a future date to come up with a suggestion and would not call back.

I had to chase him down several times. Finally they had me install an earlier version with no success and made more promises that they'd get back to me(!), which they never did by the way.

I've tried MB Trading, which is the broker behind their platform, with no problems.

FOREIGN EXCHANGE BROKER SCAM CASE

I have been using there demo platform and it certainly does not work all that well. Often dropping trades and orders.

Additional I tried to open an account with them, gave them all proper identification except I refused to give them my social security number and instead I offered my fed tax id number.

They would not accept the TIN, they were very uncooperative. For privacy reasons I do not give out my SS number except to authorized government agencies. No one else is entitled to demand that number and federal banking laws do not require that you do so if you have a TIN.

Many banks and other brokers will accept a TIN numbers in lieu of SS numbers. It is not wise to give out your SS number to any brokerage firm as you do not know who can gain access to the number or what security measures they take to protect the number.

I say this firm is being unreasonable and suggest readers look elsewhere. If they are not willing to cooperate on a issue like this, which is a privacy issue for customers, you can figure they are not going to be cooperative if you have other problems.
